Hi everyone! So today I will be talking about nappy bag essentials, the things that I keep in my changing bag or backpack in my case! I love the idea of a backpack, it is so ideal when you have your hands full and also the amount of things I keep in there and there’s STILL loads of space, I love it!
Anyway let’s get to it.
So first things first, what I think is the most obvious one, nappies! I like to keep a few in there just incase I need to go out and have no time to pack. I always keep the bag filled with these because you just don’t know when are where they’ll need changing or how many times they’ll need changing, should I say!
Next would be nappy bags, I keep a full pack in, incase we are out and need to put rubbish in or dirty clothes and of course for the nappies.
I also have the wipes in there. Oh and of course the changing mat, usually a changing bag has a mat already in but some don’t. I hate using the public changing stations because of the cleanliness. So I always wipe down and put the mat on top.
Another nappy bag essential is nappy cream, the one I use is sudocreme and I swear by it! It could be used for anything! Aside from the nappy rash! So that is always in my bag.
Baby grooming kit, because why not?! Haha
So the grooming the kit includes a comb, some bobbles – for my daughter who always tends to remove them and lose them ???? We also have a nail clipper and file. I find that it is easier to find if it’s all in one place so not really an essential, but it’s always there when I need it. I also keep a baby thermometer in there just incase.
This one is probably going to be another important one – a change of clothes.
Somehow when we were out I would always end up changing my baby due to accidents or when feeding etc.
Next, these are essentials for when we go out with the baby, a blanket for comfort or if it’s cold. I also have the dummy. Some snacks. A bottle made up or a thermos filled with boiling water and some formula in a tub. I would also have a couple of toys in there too.
So I think I’ve covered everything I needed to.
I hope this information helps!
